In support of Wake County’s announcement of restrictions designed to slow the spread of COVID-19, the Town of Cary has closed playgrounds effective Monday, March 23 at 8 a.m. until further notice. Greenways, parks, and restrooms within parks will remain open at this time. Per Governor Cooper's Executive Order 147, masks are now required in all public spaces where social distancing is not possible at all times. Learn more.

Veterans Freedom Park

The Veterans Freedom Park features a memorial court of service flags and benches leading up to a stunning 90-foot, white granite spire. The five seals from each branch of the military circle the base of the spire, creating an intimate and inviting space for reflection.
