Batting Cages and Hitting Area
There are four batting cages and a hitting area with three hitting stations at Thomas Brooks Park. They are located just outside of the Athletic Complex.
Cage numbers correspond with field numbers. Cages 5-8 are available on a first come-first serve basis unless listed otherwise on this page. Cages 1-4 are located at USA Baseball National Training Complex.
Cages 5 and 6 are designated primarily for baseball/softball use and have been split into four cages. Cricket players may use these cages if no baseball or softball players are waiting, and must reset the cages for baseball/softball after use.
Cages 7 and 8 are designated primarily for cricket use. Baseball/softball players may use these cages if no cricket players are waiting.
Cages are reserved in accordance with the baseball/softball tournament schedules at fields 5-8.
Cages 7 and 8 will be converted from cricket to baseball/softball use with cage dividers during this time.

The Thomas Brooks Soccer Fields are home to Capital Area Soccer Leagues.
The Thomas Brooks Basketball Courts are a great area for some neighborhood pick-up basketball games. The courts are lighted. They work on a timer system that can be activated at the courts. Once the timer is activated, the lights are programmed to come on near dusk and automatically go off at 11 p.m.
For any issues at the basketball courts please call (919) 387-5844.
