Located within the 220-acre Thomas Brooks Park, the National Training Complex (NTC) comprises four full-size baseball fields built to Major League Baseball standards. Facility highlights include beautiful landscaping and convenient amenities, including rest-room facilities, concessions, a training room, two permanent batting cages, a press box and the USA Baseball Team Store.
Four baseball fields, all with dimensions of 330 feet down the lines and 400 feet in center field. All four fields built and maintained to Major League Baseball standards.
The signature field -- Coleman Stadium -- includes permanent seating for 1,754 with additional grass seating for approximately 1,800 spectators, bringing the total capacity to 3,500.

Each of the three training fields have individual scorekeeper/announcer shelters, and spectator seating for 120 people.
Restroom facilities and a concessions building are on-site as well.
USA Baseball National Training Complex was built in a partnership between the Town of Cary and USA Baseball. USA Baseball has been located at the Durham Bulls Athletic Parksince moving from Tucson, Arizona. In January 2003, the Town of Cary reached an agreement with Heery International to design the National Training Complex. Heery International projects include the 1996 Olympic Stadium, which later became Turner Field, home of Major League Baseball’s Atlanta Braves.
About USA Baseball
USA Baseball is the national governing body for the sport and represents amateur baseball as part of the United States Olympic Committee and the International Baseball Association. USA Baseball governs more than 20 million amateur players across the country.
In addition USA Baseball trains and supports USA Baseball National Team of Collegians, the USA Baseball Junior National Team for players 18 and under, the Youth National Team for those 16 and under, and the Women’s National Team. Teams take part in international competition yearly.
Park Hours of Operation
Sunrise to Sunset. In lighted areas where visitors are participating in an approved extended use activity, hours are extended until 30 minutes after the completion of the approved activity.
Park Rules and Regulations
- No pets allowed in the USA Baseball National Training Complex
- All pets outside the baseball complex must be kept on leash at all times
- Skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, etc. are prohibited inside the baseball complex
- Parking prohibited in designated areas only.
- All alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
- Damage to Plants and Turf is prohibited.
- Open Fires are prohibited, except in designated areas.
- Injuring or endangering wildlife is prohibited. The NTC is operated by the Town of Cary. The complex plays hosts to numerous Town of Cary and USA Baseball events throughout the year.
