Downtown Cary arts facilities are the hub of arts activity in Cary. Art Instructors abound at the Cary Arts Center, the Page-Walker Arts and History Center, and The Cary Theater. In addition, The Hive in western Cary offers arts enrichment programming. At each facility, visual, performing, and cultural arts classes and camps are taught by experienced artists and instructors who strive to create fun and rewarding experiences for all. Many of our teachers have professional careers and bring this expertise to the classroom. This week we are celebrating Visual Arts instructors who have taught here in Cary for years—as far back as 1995!  While classes might not be in session right now, their contribution has helped to shape individuals and our emerging and vibrant arts community.

For a look at some of the programs, public art installations, grants, and facilities, visit our Arts & Culture page.

Each week in July, we're highlighting a handful of our recreational instructors. This week, we're focusing on the Visual Arts instructors that have made a difference in Cary. Click through, get to know a bit about them, and peruse their works!
