When Cary receives a request from an applicant to rezone an area, neighbors within 800 feet of the property are notified to inform and update them about the process. This early input helps developers work with neighborhoods as they move forward to develop the land use.
Cary is under a State of Emergency in response to the COVID 19 pandemic, and Town Hall is closed to the public. Therefore, the rezoning neighborhood meetings will be held in a virtual format (via WebEx and phone access).
Register to attend these meetings virtually or to leave feedback about either case.
Register for these meetings before noon on August 12th and mention the case you would like to participate in virtually. These meetings will be held simultaneously - you will only be able to attend one of them.
Register and leave feedback about either case below.
Leave feedback by phone by calling the case manager's voicemail. State your name, phone number, and the rezoning case you are referencing.
Staff will contact you via email to provide you with instructions on how to join the WebEx virtual neighborhood meeting via computer or phone. You will receive a meeting link on August 12th meeting date after 1:00 pm.
All comments received by August 12th at noon will be shared with the applicant for discussion at the virtual neighborhood meeting. These comments will be summarized by the applicant and included in the neighborhood meeting minutes.
